A group of our volunteer gardeners put in a hard day’s work this past Saturday to water and weed and move some logs. A big thank you to everyone for your hard work. Our gardens look great! Thank you.

Hello all, we had a site inspection from PollinateTO today. They loved the gardens. It was especially good when this beetle showed up! If you zoom in on some of the photos here you can also see the ladybug eating aphids on the fake sunflower, a bee with pollen on its legs, and a monarch butterfly right by the pollinator garden sign.

A member of our Rosewood community passed in a tragic car accident last summer. In his memory, his parents have planted a special memorial garden as part of the Rosewood Pollinator Gardens.

The plants are all native pollinator friendly and include: big blue stem, grey headed cone flower, yellow prairie grass, little blue stem, showy golden rod, lance leaf coreopsis, iron weed, wild bergamot, pearly everlasting and blackeye susan. More plants and shrubs will continue to be added over the coming months.
